With over 25 years of experience helping clients navigate the complexities of growing, managing and preserving substantial wealth, Christian Langenstein has become a trusted advisor to affluent and sophisticated investors.

Combining a holistic approach with technical execution, Christian’s mission is to deliver a positive customer experience and to assist his clients in achieving their personal & financial goals and aspirations.

His Private Wealth Management practice specializes in customized investment planning & portfolio construction, asset allocation & risk management, as well as monetization, hedging and diversification strategies for concentrated stock positions. He manages both Equity and Fixed Income portfolios for individuals and select institutions.

Immediately prior to joining Alex. Brown-Raymond James, Christian was a Vice President and Senior Financial Advisor, Global Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch for 14 years. Prior to that he was an investment analyst at Lehman Brothers, and he held management positions at Ocwen Financial Corporation and Thomas Cook Foreign Exchange. He began his investment career at E.F. Hutton & Company as a portfolio analyst.

Christian earned his MBA in Finance from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and his B.S. in Finance from The University of Maryland, Smith School of Business. His securities licenses include Series 7, Series 63 and Series 66, as well as his Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance designation.

Christian is married to his wife Samantha, he has two children and lives in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is an avid soccer player, loves travel and to spend time with his family.
